As a Mid-Market AE, your focus will be on closing mid-sized companies looking for one of Motivosity’s 4 products. After you close a deal, you’ll have 12 months to upsell any additional Motivosity product.
Role responsibilities: What’s the job and how you do it
- Execute impeccable discovery calls - we need to clearly uncover legitimate pain or gain as we navigate the sales process
- Strictly adhere to exit criteria and established process so you don’t suck at forecasting
- Understand there is an element of creativity required to get a deal across the finish line, and it doesn’t begin with a discount
- Sales is the greatest profession, so be a total professional - Own your productivity metrics, requests for training and development, and create your success
- Outbound activity is a requirement - your network, customers, engagement on LinkedIn and cold-outreach
- Navigate complex organizations, multi-thread accounts, and have an incredible presence while presenting to executives
Qualifications: Who you are and what you can do
- 3+ years of closing deals in SaaS or technology
- Proven track record of quota attainment
- Exhibit skills of negotiation and persuasion
- Passion for growth and learning additional sales skills
- The ability to work well in a team - we will role play and share best practices
- You’re honest
- Be a solutions consultant - you’re not an order taker. A qualified rep is one who can gain trust, uncover meaningful information, and sell value to executives
- Our brand voice is extremely important. When talking to clients you need to be warm, friendly, happy, and able to solve the issue quickly.
